MY START
What started out as a hobby making cakes for family and friends, turned into a thriving in business in 2012, with the help of a few significant people who gave Taylored Cupcakes the opportunity to really flourish.
DEVELOPING MY FLAVORS
My flavor list was created after receiving feedback from the customers at Wake Forest Coffee Company where my cupcakes were sold. Then, after being invited to set up a stand at the seasonal Haunted Forest, my cupcakes were introduced to many new customers including the owner of, the famous, Angus Barn in Raleigh, NC. This is truly where my business grew, from baking several dozen cupcakes a week, to baking thousands. For these three significant businesses, who put me on the map, I will be forever grateful!
SODA CITY MARKET
A new venture began in 2019 at the Soda City Market. It was here that I had the opportunity to share my cupcakes with the Columbia, SC community where I enjoyed meeting people and sharing my gourmet cupcakes every week. In March 2020 when the pandemic struck, I had to pivot. With local families looking for activities, I decided to create a DIY cupcake decorating kit which combined both my artistic passion with my love for baking.
